Srinagar, Nov. 8 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police's Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) wing launched extensive search operations on Saturday in two jails in the Valley, including the high-security Central Jail Srinagar, officials said.
They said the searches are being carried out as part of a coordinated exercise to strengthen jail security and check for any illegal activities inside the prison premises.
