Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, April 1 -- The Western Region has the potential in helping India achieve its ambitious goal of becoming a 35 trillion dollars economy by 2047, emphasised Rishi Kumar Bagla, chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Western Region.

Addressing first-ever press conference after assuming office as chairman of CII on Monday, he expressed CII's commitment to improving business climate in India, creating opportunities for industrial growth and driving the country's long-term vision of becoming a developed nation by 2047.
