Hyderabad, March 7 -- The Telangana Crime Investigation Department (CID) has arrested another accused in connection with the Rs 95 crore GBR cryptocurrency fraud case.
The accused, identified as Yeruva Sleeva Ravi Kumar Reddy, a resident of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, was taken into custody on March 6 and has been sent to judicial remand.
The case revolves around Kurrimela Ramesh Goud, the prime accused, who-along with his associates-allegedly created a fake website under the name GBR and lured innocent investors through a WhatsApp group, promising high returns on cryptocurrency investments.
A total of 44 victims, including complainant Arra Manoz Kumar from Karimnagar, transferred approximately Rs 95 crore to the accused and his family members....
