Kolkata, Sept. 17 -- A fifty-five-year-old ex-service man, identified as Gautam Ghosh, waskilled today after he encountered with " China Manza" ( thread used for flying kites) whileriding a motorcycle on the Kalyani Expressway at Khardah in North 24 Parganas, officialsources said.
After sustaining grievous wounds on his throat while speeding the two-wheeler, Ghosh fell off the bike badly.
The local people immediately took him to the nearest Bandipur hospital where the medics declared him dead.
The doctors said extensive blood loss caused his death. The body was sent for Command Hospital in Alipore for post mortem.
