Lucknow, Feb. 6 -- Lucknow witnessed back-to-back serious incidents involving banned Chinese manja (threads made out of glass) in 24 hours, raising fresh questions over enforcement despite an ongoing police crackdown.
After the death of a youth in Old Lucknow, a retired Army personnel was critically injured on Thursday afternoon when a sharp Chinese kite string slashed his face and jaw in the Gomti Nagar Extension area. The incident occurred on Shaheed Path.
