Beijing, Aug. 1 -- The United States poses the greatest threat to China in the field of cybersecurity, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said on Friday.
Earlier in the day, the Cybersecurity Association of China (CSAC) said that US intelligence agencies had intensified cyberattacks on China's high-tech military universities and scientific research institutes in recent years with the aim of stealing classified information.
"This is the latest evidence of malicious cyberattacks by the US authorities on China, once again demonstrating that the United States is the top cyber threat to China," Guo told a briefing.
