Beijing, June 30 -- The Chinese Communist Party's membership stood at nearly 100.3 million as of the end of 2024, according to statistics from the Organization Department of the CCP Central Committee.

The latest data was released ahead of the 104th anniversary of the founding of the CCP, which China will celebrate on July 1. As of December 31, 2024, the number of CPC members was 100.271 million, up 1.086 million or 1.1% from the end of 2023.

There are 30.995 million women members in the CCP, accounting for 30.9% of the total party membership. Ethnic minorities number 7.7% of the total party membership, or 7.734 million.
