China warns US of counter-measures for asking NATO, G7 to impose additional tariffs on Russian oil issue
Beijing/New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- China today slammed United States for asking G7 and NATO to impose additional tariffs on Chinese imports on the issue of purchase of Russian oil, describing it as ''bullying, unilateralism and economic coercion.''Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said China firmly opposes relevant party directing the issue at China and ''abusing illicit unilateral sanctions and long-arm jurisdiction.''He warned that if China's legitimate rights and interests are harmed, ''China will resolutely take counter-measures to safeguard our sovereignty, security and development interests.''''What the U.S. has done is a typical move of unilateralism, bullying and economic coercion.
