Beijing, May 7 -- China on Wednesday termed as "regrettable" India's military operation of striking terror camps in Pakistan and POK, and urged both sides to exercise restraint and refrain from taking actions that could further complicate the situation.
China's response came as the Indian armed forces launched cross-border strikes on nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir as part of Operation Sindoor early on Wednesday to avenge the brutal gunning down of 26 people, mostly tourists, by Pakistan-linked terrorists in Pahalgam.
