Beijing, July 4 -- China's Ministry of Commerce said today that the United States has notified it regarding the removal of certain trade restrictions after the US administration lifted restrictions on exports of chip design software to Beijing.

All three leading chip design software companies- Synopsys, Cadence and Siemens said they were notified by the US Commerce Department that the export curbs introduced in May had been rescinded, said a report by CNN.
