Beijing, July 15 -- Chinese authorities have launched a campaign to improve the internet environment for minors, the Cyberspace Administration of China said on Tuesday.
"The campaign will expand the depth and scope of regulation, continue work to eliminate problems on the internet that negatively affect the physical and mental health of minors," the administration said in a statement published on WeChat.
The campaign will be aimed at eliminating content that threatens the physical and psychological health of children, and will be in effect for two months throughout the country.
