Hyderabad, Aug. 15 -- The Telangana State Child Rights Commission has taken serious note of an incident in which a 6-year-old student, Rizaj Khan, was allegedly assaulted by his school teacher, Tabassum, for not bringing a textbook to class.
The child, a resident of Shankar Lal Nagar, Jubilee Hills, Borabanda, is a Grade 1 student at a Model School.
Upon learning of the incident, Commission Chairperson Kothakota Seetha Dayakar Reddy, along with members Vandana Goud, Vachana Kumar and Premalatha Agarwal, visited the boy's home to meet his family and gather details of the incident.
