Chennai, Feb. 27 -- As part of strengthening its Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) capabilities, the Indian Navy on Friday commissioned "Dolphin Hunter" INS Anjadip, the third vessel in the eight-ship Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC) project at the Chennai Port.

The warship was formally inducted into the Eastern Naval Command at Chennai Port by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi.

With the commissioning, the Indian Navy enhanced its indigenous anti-submarine warfare capabilities.
