Chennai, March 26 -- General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff, visited the Madras Regimental Centre, Wellington on Wednesday.
During the visit he reviewed the training being imparted there.
He was briefed on the upgradation of training infrastructure undertaken at the Centre.
Gen Dwivedi commended all ranks of Madras Regimental Centre for their dedication and
unwavering commitment.
The COAS stressed on conducting professional training for Agniveers and the importance of incorporating technology in training so as to prepare Agniveers to adapt to rapid technological advances and for them to be adept at handling latest generation equipment, thereby enhancing operational readiness.
