Sitapur, Sept. 4 -- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh today said that the Chief Minister has taken cognisance of the lathicharge on Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) workers in Barabanki and assured that strict action will be taken against those found guilty.

Singh, who was in Sitapur to attend a programme, made the remarks while interacting with journalists.

Targeting Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar for calling ABVP workers "goons," Singh said Rajbhar was a non-serious person.
