Thrissur, Aug. 8 -- The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Kerala today issued a clarification regarding allegations related to the voters' list in the Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency.
This clarification comes in response to allegations made by V.S. Sunil Kumar, the CPI candidate in the 2024 Lok Sabha General Elections, who raised concerns before the media yesterday about alleged irregularities in the voters' list used for the Thrissur constituency.
As part of the Special Summary Revision of the electoral roll conducted ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the draft electoral roll was published on 27.10.2023, and copies were provided free of cost to all recognised political parties.
