Tirumala, May 10 -- Chief Election Commissioner of India Gyanesh Kumar offered prayers at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Sunday morning.
On his arrival at the temple, he was accorded a traditional welcome by TTD Additional Executive Officer Venkaiah Chowdary and temple priests at the entrance of the shrine.
During the visit, the Chief Election Commissioner offered prayers to the presiding deity Lord Venkateswara inside the sanctum sanctorum.
He also offered prayers at the shrines of Vakula Matha, Ananda Nilayam Vimana Venkateswara, Bhashyakarla Sannidhi and Yoga Narasimha Swamy Temple.
