Raipur, Nov. 25 -- The BJP on Tuesday held a high-level review meeting at its state headquarters in Raipur to assess organisational preparedness and political positioning over the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Chhattisgarh.

The meeting was chaired by BJP general secretary Tarun Chugh and attended by state BJP president Kiran Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, MLAs, MPs and senior party functionaries.

Addressing party leaders, Chugh stressed ensuring accuracy, transparency and credibility of the voters' list in the SIR process. He stressed that democratic integrity depends on inclusion of genuine voters and removal of incorrect or suspicious entries.
