Raipur (Chhattisgarh), March 17 -- A sub-inspector was shot dead by a police constable at an ITBP camp in Raipur here on Monday morning, police said.
The cause of the incident is yet to be ascertained, and the police have launched an investigation into the matter.
The firing took place today morning when there was an altercation between the two.
After the incident, other security personnel posted at the camp immediately tried to help, but the sub-inspector's life could not be saved.
Police have reached the spot and started investigating the cause of this shooting.
