Raipur, May 6 -- An Assistant Commandant of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was injured on Tuesday during an ongoing operation against Naxalites in the KGH Hills area on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border.
Chhattisgarh Minister Ram Vichar Netam shared the information in a post on X, stating that CRPF Assistant Commandant Sagar Borade was seriously injured while rescuing a wounded jawan. Borade is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS Delhi and is reported to be in stable condition.
The minister wished for Borade's speedy recovery and praised his bravery.
The security forces have been conducting an intensive operation against Naxalites in the area for the past 15 days.
