Mumbai, May 22 -- The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus building, which is the glory of Mumbai city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will be redeveloped under the Amrut Bharat Station Scheme and a fund of Rs 2,800 crore will be made available for this, said Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday.

He made this announcement after participating in a virtual programme organised in Bikaner where Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 103 railway stations in the country, which were redeveloped under the Amrut Bharat Railway Station Scheme. Governor C P Radhakrishnan was also present on the occasion.
