Ch. Sambhajinagar, Jan. 21 -- The election programme for the Zilla Parishad and Panchayat Samiti general elections has been announced in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, and the election process has formally begun. Polling will be held on February 5, while counting of votes is scheduled for February 7.
To ensure that the elections are conducted peacefully and in a fear-free environment, District Collector and District Magistrate Dilip Swami has issued a series of preventive orders that will remain in force throughout the election period.
