New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- Siddhant Nath Jha, who has won two golds and one silver at the Asian Chess Boxing championships, has urged the government to support the sport as also the Indian players who have performed very well in the discipline.
Stressing that Indian players have done very well in Chess Boxing, Jha strongly pitched for govenrment backing for the talented players. "Players are managing through their own finances and private sponsorships. Some amount of financial aid should be provided to winners, at least the foreign travel expenses for the tournaments can be borne by the government," Jha said in an interview to UNI.
