Pune, Sept. 28 -- Maharashtra is reeling under a massive natural disaster. Over 50 lakh hectares of farmland have been destroyed, more than 100 people have lost their lives, and hundreds of cattle have perished. Despite the grim situation, the Mahayuti government is not taking sufficient action.
"While Maharashtra faces this crisis, neither Prime Minister Narendra Modi nor any of his ministers have visited the state to assess the damage or console the farmers. The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit Maharashtra next month. Will he, at least then, wipe the tears of the farmers?" asked Maharashtra Congress in-charge Ramesh Chennithala here today.
