Lonavala, Feb. 17 -- Maharashtra in-charge Ramesh Chennithala on Saturday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP of continuously criticising Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in an attempt to end Gandhi-Nehru ideology.

Addressing two-day state-level camp on concluding day here, he alleged that Modi and BJP are working to end democracy.

"If Modi comes back to power, many people will have to go to jail. Because he does not believe in democracy or the Constitution. This election, we are faced with, is a do or die situation," he continued.

Emphasising on the need for booth management, Chennithala said that there is very little time left for the Lok Sabha elections.
