Thiruvananthapuram, Aug. 26 -- Senior Congress leader Ramesh Chennithala today said the removal of Narendra Nath Velloori from the post of CEO of ANERT (Agency for Non-Conventional Energy and Rural Technology) will not put an end to the irregularities in the organization.

He demanded a detailed vigilance probe as well as an inquiry by a legislative assembly committee to bring those responsible to book.

"ANERT has witnessed corruption running into hundreds of crores. Dismissing one officer does not erase the scam. There should be a model investigation and exemplary punishment," the AICC Working Committee member said.
