Raipur, Nov. 9 -- An emergency meeting of police was held in the Chhattisgarh capital Raipur to discuss law and order situation in view of the Supreme Court ruling on Ayodhya dispute.

The Union Home Ministry has instructed all states to be on high alert in view of the Supreme Court verdict.

The meeting, convened by Raipur Range IG Anand Chhabda lasted for nearly an hour at Police Control Room here. SSPs, CSPs and TIs of all the police stations attended the meeting.

The IG gave necessary instructions to the police officers and keep tabs on social media.
