Ayodhya, Dec. 21 -- The charred body of an unidentified youth was found near a minor canal in Muradabad village under the Pataranga area on Sunday morning, triggering panic in the locality. The village lies close to the Barabanki district border, prompting joint action by local police teams.
According to police, villagers who had gone out for their morning walk noticed a partially burnt body near the canal and immediately informed the authorities. Preliminary investigation suggests that the youth was brutally hacked to death, and an attempt was made to destroy the evidence by burning the body with straw to prevent identification.
