Shimla, Aug. 20 -- In a major relief to power employees in Himachal, the State Electricity Board Management has withdrawn the chargesheet issued to leaders of the Joint Action Committee (JAC) of HPSEB Employees, Engineers and Pensioners.
The decision came after the intervention of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu following a formal complaint made by the employees' outfit.
The management had earlier filed a chargesheet against JAC leaders E. Lokesh Thakur and Hira Lal Verma for allegedly carrying out trade union activities outside the Board's premises.
