Dharamshala, April 21 -- Police at Nagrota Bagwan have seized 201 grams of charas from a man in the local vegetable market, officials said on Monday.

Kangra district superintendent of police Ashok Rattan told UNI that the accused, identified as Vinod Kumar, a resident of Parenda village under Mallapur tehsil in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh, was apprehended on April 19 during routine checking at the Nagrota Bagwan vegetable market.

A case has been registered against him under Sections 20, 61, and 85 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Police Station Nagrota Bagwan.
