Dharamsala, Oct. 8 -- As part of its ongoing anti-narcotics campaign, Dehra Police seized 44 grams of charas during a night patrol and traffic checking operation conducted today, under the jurisdiction of the Sansarpur Terrace Police Station.
Dehra Superintendent of Police Mayank Choudhary told UNI that during a checking operation in the Kotha area, a vehicle was stopped on suspicion.
Upon searching the vehicle, 44 grams of charas were recovered.
The accused, identified as Harjeet Singh (53), son of Joga Ram, a resident of village Shawa, post office Sivari, district Gurdaspur, Punjab, was arrested on the spot.
