Srinagar, July 12 -- Jammu and Kashmir police arrested three drug peddlers and recovered charas in the Kashmir valley, a police spokesperson said on Sunday.'

The accused was identified as Mohammad Qasim Peer, a resident of Drugmulla, Kupwara.

According to him, police intercepted a vehicle and during the search recovered 1080 grams of charas. He said vehicle has been seized and a case has been registered and investigation taken up. The spokesperson added that the police also arrested two drug peddlers and recovered charas from their possession in the central Kashmir district of Badgam.
