Mumbai, Sept. 12 -- A special court conducting the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case under the previous TADA Act held that the change in the presiding judge does not amount to change in circumstances.

The court passed an order while rejecting a plea by two accused facing trial in the 1993 Bombay blasts case, which sought that confessions recorded in the earlier two trials should not be used against them.

Seven accused are currently facing trial before the court in Mumbai, while previously two separate trials have concluded against over 190 including Yakub Memon and Abu Salem between 1993 to 2017.
