NEW DELHI, Oct. 25 -- In view of the issue pertaining to sealing in Delhi's one of the most popular and oldest markets Chandni Chowk, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today convened a meeting to discuss the matter with top officials and trader representatives.
The delegation of the traders from the area was led by Chandni Chowk MP Praveen Khandelwal, who told Gupta that the area concerned is a commercial zone, and claimed that it was due to the actions of a certain individual, an unfortunate situation had arisen that led to the sealing of some shops on the directions of the Supreme Court.
