Chandigarh, March 30 -- A CBI court has acquitted a former Punjab and Haryana High Court Judge in an alleged corruption case of 2008.
Besides, Justice Nirmal Yadav, other accused Ravinder Singh Bhaseen, Rajiv Gupta and Nirmal Singh were also acquitted in the "Cash at Door" case by the court on Saturday.
One of the accused Sanjeev Bansal passed away in the interim period.
Notably, a bag containing Rs 15 lakh was delivered at the house of Nirmal Yadav's namesake, another High Court Judge, Nirmaljeet Kaur. Police were informed and a case was registered, Later the investigation was handed over to the CBI. UNI GS
