Shimla, Sept. 12 -- An inn would soon come up at the Atal Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Chamiyana to provide much-needed stay facilities for patients and their attendants.
A meeting regarding its construction was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shimla, Anupam Kashyap, today.
The project is being taken up by Shri Tulsi Ram Bhagirath Ram Memorial Charitable Society (Sood Sabha Chandigarh), which has agreed to construct a 150-room and 50-bed dormitory on the institute's premises. All expenses of the project will be borne by the society.
The DC directed a joint site inspection under SDM Shimla on September 18, with participation from other concerned departments.
