Chandigarh, July 21 -- In a significant step towards ensuring safer workplaces for women, the Chandigarh Police has introduced the SHe-Box (Sexual Harassment Electronic Box) portal, enabling women to file complaints of workplace sexual harassment online from the comfort of their homes. The initiative eliminates the need for victims to visit police stations or offices to report incidents. The portal, developed under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development, allows women from both government and private sectors to lodge complaints.
