Chandigarh, June 25 -- Congress MP from Chandigarh Manish Tewari today welcomed the announcement by Chandigarh Administrator Gulabchand Kataria that instead of secret ballet, the mayor, senior deputy mayor and deputy mayor, will be elected by the show of hands.
Tewari wrote on X that it was gratifying to note that a reform measure that he had proposed has finally been accepted.
