Ranchi, Sept. 16 -- The Chamber is gearing up for its 61st Annual General Meeting on September 20 and elections for the 2025-26 session on September 21 at Swarnabhoomi Banquet, Dangratoli.
Election officials Bikas Singh and Pawan Sharma said 56 nominations were filed, including six for regional vice-presidents, all of whom have been elected unopposed. For the executive committee, 50 nominations were received, six withdrawn, leaving 44 candidates for 21 seats.
The electorate stands at 3,985 members - 3,727 life, 158 general, 85 affiliated bodies, 10 corporate and five patron members. Each has one vote, except affiliated bodies with two. Eligibility is restricted to members enrolled within the prescribed cut-off dates.
