Hyderabad, Dec. 21 -- Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday strongly countered remarks made by K T Rama Rao, dismissing his political posturing and asserting that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has already outplayed him in the political arena.

In a statement, while reacting to KTR's comments likening politics to football, Kiran Reddy said Revanth Reddy did not need to "play football" with KTR, as the Chief Minister was already defeating him politically.

He said Revanth Reddy rose from the grassroots without any political godfather, winning as a ZPTC member on his own and eventually becoming Chief Minister.
