Hyderabad, Feb. 1 -- In a sharp attack on the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Bhongir MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, questioned the party's claims of "Telangana self-respect" in the wake of the phone tapping investigation.
In a video statement on Sunday, Reddy asked whether sophisticated phone-tapping equipment could have been procured from Israel without the knowledge of then Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).
He also sought an explanation from BRS leaders on why CCTV cameras in the Special Intelligence Branch were allegedly switched off, equipment and files destroyed, and dumped in the Musi River and Vikarabad forests.
