Bengaluru, Sept. 23 -- Chalavadi Narayanaswamy today strongly condemned the Backward Classes Commission's ongoing social survey for tagging Christianity to every community, terming it unconstitutional and unacceptable.
He said the survey has sparked widespread protests from various communities, including Lingayat groups, who insist that religious affiliation should only be recorded for individuals who have actually converted to Christianity or Islam.
