Chennai, March 25 -- In a meticulous and swift operation, the Greater Chennai City police on Tuesday arrested two North Indians at the airport, who were involved in a series of chain snatching
incident in the city by operating on 'Fly-in and Fly-out' model.
They were arrested within three hours after being involved in eight chain snatching incidents in a short span of time, after police acted swiftly, analysed the CCTV footages and nabbed them at the airport while they were about to board a flight to Delhi and Mumbai en route to their native Uttar Pradesh.
The duo were identified as Suraj (28) and Jaffer (26), whose modus operandi is to land in the city
