Hyderabad, April 28 -- A one-day regional workshop on "Standardisation of Ground Water Drilling Data and Institutionalisation of Drilling as a National Hydrogeological Asset and Data Generation" was held at Bhujal Bhawan, Southern Region of the Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) here on Tuesday.
Organised under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, the workshop brought together senior officials from CGWB, State Ground Water Departments of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala, along with representatives from Jal Jeevan Mission, irrigation and agriculture departments, and private drilling agencies.
