Dharamshala, April 22 -- A dignified Ceremony to honour ex-servicemen and war widows was held at the War Memorial Museum in Dharamshala today, with Secretary, Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, Sukriti Likhi, attending as the chief guest.
Managing Director, ECHS, Anil Chandel, Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board, Digvijay Basera, and Colonel Jai Ganesh were also present on the occasion.
Director, State Sainik Board Himachal Pradesh, Brigadier M.S. Sharma welcomed the chief guest and gave a detailed presentation on various welfare schemes being implemented for ex-servicemen, war widows and their dependents.
