Nashik, April 8 -- Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has asserted that the Centre will consider additional assistance if farmers affected by unseasonal rains in the state need more money and if there is a demand from the state.

If farmers get proper guidance and training for quality food production, every village in the country will become self-reliant and poverty-free.

He also said that the Centre and the state government are supporting the farmers for natural farming.

Chouhan inaugurated the Krishi Vigyan Mandapam Auditorium and Women's Technology Park at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra here on Monday.
