Bengaluru, May 23 -- Union Power Minister Manohar Lal on Friday called upon the Karnataka Government to implement financial reforms in the power sector, expedite the rollout of smart meters, and resolve transmission infrastructure challenges at the earliest. Addressing a high-level review meeting on Karnataka's power sector here, Manohar Lal was joined by Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy Shripad Naik, Karnataka Energy Minister KJ George, and senior officials from both the Centre and the State, along with representatives from REC Ltd.
