Patna, Oct. 1 -- BJP leader and Nawada MP Vivek Thakur today said that Bihar is set to witness a major boost in the field of school education with the Centre approving the establishment of 19 new Kendriya Vidyalayas across the state.

Thakur, who termed the move a "historic achievement" for Bihar's education sector, said that the decision will pave the way for quality and affordable education for children in the state and will serve as a milestone in Bihar's educational development.

All the newly sanctioned schools will also have provisions for Bal Vatika and nursery classes, ensuring early childhood education alongside the regular academic curriculum, he informed.
