Parwinder SandhuNew Delhi, Dec. 19 -- Nearly a year after National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) commissioned its pioneering 3.7 MW solar-hydrogen project at Chushul in Ladakh, the Centre has signalled plans to replicate the model in other strategic frontier regions.
Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy Shripad Yesso Naik has said that a similar green energy project, this time harnessing hydro power, is currently underway in Arunachal Pradesh to supply clean and reliable electricity to forward Army bases along the Line of Actual Control.
