New Delhi, Dec. 15 -- In an effort to strengthen India's geospatial capabilities of our nation, the government will organise a national workshop, titled 'Geospatial Mission: An Enabler of Viksit Bharat' on Wednesday at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre in New Delhi.
The one-day workshop organised by the Survey of India, Department of Science & Technology, will be inaugurated by Jitendra Singh, Minister of Science & Technology, according to an official document.
The ministry said the workshop will focus on upgrading the country's geodetic reference system, strengthening geospatial data and mapping infrastructure, and aligning standards across geospatial frameworks. The measures aim to improve the accuracy of national maps and ensure that l...
